China Electric Power News Network reporter Li Xinzhi reported that on March 18th, the National Energy Administration held a learning (expansion) meeting of the Party Group Central Group to deeply study the spirit of the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Strengthening Party Political Construction" and the "Notice of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Strengthening and Improving Party Building in Central and State Organs". Zhang Jianhua, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Bureau, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech

 

The meeting requires that party organizations and party members at all levels of the National Energy Administration deeply understand that strengthening the political construction of the Party is an essential requirement of Marxist political parties, a successful experience of Party building, and an inherent need to promote the development of the energy industry. We must fully implement the deployment requirements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on strengthening the political construction of the Party, resolutely achieve the "two safeguards", continuously strengthen theoretical armament, continuously improve the political capacity of grassroots Party organizations, focus on cultivating a good political ecology, focus on doing a good job in various aspects of people's livelihood in the energy field, tighten and compact the political responsibility of governing the Party, promote the high-quality development of party building in government agencies, and provide strong guarantees for accelerating the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system.

At the meeting, Lin Shanqing, a member of the Party Group, Deputy Director, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the directly affiliated organs of the National Energy Administration, as well as major officials from the Coal Department and China Electric Power Media, made exchange speeches.
